Fetish Vs. Vanilla
I’m finally back! No, I wasn’t on vacation or out of town I’ve just been busy with many different endeavors. Since my absence from blogging I’ve began working on many new projects. One in particular is my webcamming. I recently started camming on Streammate and Chaturbate. As I mentioned before in a previous post, camming is not new to me, but I’m new to camming. You may be asking yourself, what does that mean? Well, I’ve cammed on many different sites over the past 5 years from LiveJasmin to MyFreeCams however, none kept my interest for too long. Sitting around trying to get privates was long and brutal therefore, I really never went on cam and if I did it was only for a couple of hours here and there nothing consistent.
After my experience with these sites I had decided that webcamming may just not be for me or so I thought. Then one day while browsing the internet I came across an advertisement for Streammate. I had used them before as my camming platform, but I didn’t really like it; then again come to think of it I really didn’t put forth much effort. Other than the long boring hours of sitting in front of the cam I liked Streammate. When I did make money it was always sent on time and Support was always friendly and helpful. With that being said I decided to start camming again with them. I already had an account, so there wasn’t any setup or paper work needed to begin. They had also added new features and updated old ones so I was kind of excited to begin working. I’m now more than 2 weeks into working as a Streammate cam girl and I love it. Maybe it's my new attitude towards camming or their new user friendly platform; whatever it is I’m enjoying the experience.
My other site that I cam on is Chaturbate. This to me is by far the most versatile and beneficial camming site I’ve come across. The best thing about this site is that they allow you to input outside links into your bio page which in return can increase traffic to your other sites (twitter, blog, clip site, etc…). You also have the flexibility of creating a private room that requires a password for entrance. This has been very useful for my fetish freaks. All in all, I am quite pleased with the outcomes of both these sites.
Meet Nikky
Okay, now that I’ve briefly talked about my two camming platforms it's time to get down to the nitty-gritty of this post. When I first began camming I was strictly vanilla, but then I soon found out that the competition in this market was unbelievable. It seemed as though you had to be straight out of Playboy in order to make some type of name for yourself or to see a profit that was worth the time and effort that you put in towards your business. This was one of the main reasons why I think my success was little to none with this type of content. Then I stumbled upon the world of Fetishism and everything changed; for the good that is.
Erotic or sexual fetishism is a sexual focus on a nonliving object or nongenital body part. The object of interest is called the fetish; and the person who has a fetish for that object is a fetishist. Believe it or not, there is a huge market for this type of porn and the competition is not as much, so this makes fetish porn very profitable. It’s also interesting to learn about the different types of fetishes people have. So, where does that leave me with my vanilla audience? Well, since I've started creating content that’s geared towards my fetishists, it’s allowed me to branch out in various directions by incorporating this into my vanilla content. Now, merging these two different types of porn together may be profitable, but the process can be a bit tedious. Since the majority of my fetish audience may be turned off by my vanilla content which in return ultimately decreases my viewers, I had to come up with a solution to satisfy both ends.
Meet Nikky, okay I know what you’re saying to yourself, “who the hell is Nikky”? Well Nikky is my normal vanilla personality and Trinidy on the other hand, is my Fetish Femdom alter ego. As previously mentioned, I first began with vanilla and Nikky is who I am when doing anything that’s geared towards my Vanilla audience. At the present time Nikky is only known through my cam site, but I am working on setting up a clip store for my fans. I also have future plans for my own site that will merge these two characters into one person and feature my vanilla and fetish content all in one place, but that will be later on.
